BAKERY CAFÉ OPENS WITH DRIVE-THRU
Cole & Parks Opens its First Location in Historic
Building
VICTOR, N.Y. (Nov. 13, 2003) — Donna Reeves
Collins – formerly an officer at Frontier
Corporation – today unveiled Cole & Parks,
a new bakery café offering fresh-baked cookies,
expertly brewed coffee, breakfast and lunch options,
and even a drive-thru. As a preview for companies
and VIPs, a “cookie cutting” event was
hosted today attracting local government and community
officials, including Constellation Brands President
Richard Sands, Assemblyman Brian Kolb and Mayor
Tom Walker of Victor.
Cole & Parks is located in the old Peggy’s
Bridal building at 607 Rowley Road (the corner of
Rt. 96 and Main St. in Fishers). An historic landmark
built in 1813 by Simeon Parks, the building, then
known as “Parks Place,” was home to
the Parks family for nearly 150 years. The building
has been restored to reflect its original character
and updated to provide a relaxed atmosphere for
social and business gatherings.
Cole and Parks officially opens for business Friday,
Nov. 14 at 6 a.m. Hours of operation are as follows:
Monday – Thursday 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday
and Saturday, 6 a.m. – 11 p.m.; and Sunday,
7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
"
‘Fresh cookies and coffee, redefined’
is our motto,” said Donna Reeves Collins,
owner of Cole & Parks. “This is because
we bake our cookies on premises using only the highest
quality, freshest ingredients. And, you will truly
taste the difference in our coffee. Our coffee has
an authentic, fresh roast flavor because we follow
the high critical standards developed by the Specialty
Coffee Association of America.”
Cole & Parks is committed to supporting the
communities in which it does business. Giving back
to children’s charities and those less fortunate
through food bank donations provides a social, environmental
and economic benefit that makes sense for its business.
Among its philanthropic commitments, Cole &
Parks donates five percent of its grand opening
proceeds to a local children’s charity as
it enters each market. Five percent of the proceeds
for the first week of its opening in Victor will
benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times.
Cole
& Parks is poised to become a leading baker
and retailer, selling the freshest, best-tasting
and cookies individually or in a customer-specified-variety
dozen. Three key elements define the Cole &
Parks business model: a bakery café, coffee
house and retail market. The bakery café
offers cookies and other products baked daily using
all-natural ingredients, while the coffee house
serves rich, quality coffee. An in-house retail
market sells gift baskets, confectionary items,
proprietary custom baking ingredients and pre-formed
Dough Eggs™ that offer customers the opportunity
to make great tasting, easy-to-bake cookies at home.
Cole & Parks also serves fresh breakfast wraps
and lunch options, including panini sandwiches and
soup.
Cole
& Parks encourages people to stop by its Victor
location and enjoy the quality, freshness, variety
and convenience it provides. For more information,
